After this summer, I will officially be a Manhattan College Jasper.

Please, summer, be good to me and a long one, the very least.

When time passes you by, you hardly even notice until the day you stop to smell the flowers. What a saying, yeah? Stopping to smell the flowers. It is as if I am more than obliged to acknowledge the strangers around me who have co-existed for so long, but I have been too caught up in my own way to notice. I am just going on and on, growing in parallel with the world around me, not getting any younger. Damn, I am not getting any younger.

It just takes one day. One hour or a minute or a quick second to realize how much life one has gone through. Without question, time is merciless, yet kind to those who appreciate it. To take advantage differs from taking for granted; however, it is granted that time be of equal chance for everyone. It is the choice of enjoying it that makes time so precious.

If one speaks even the most rudimentary form of the English language, it is understood that time does not stop for anyone. It would be unfair for time to choose a few mistresses to take care of here and there. Time is not always guaranteed. All the years I have lived were nothing squandered. I just have to make the most out of what I have left and enjoy it.

Flowers are beautiful. It would be a shame if no one stopped to appreciate them once in a while.
